27,450 source-linked historical records. “Open” is a merit quota open to rural and urban candidates; it is not an urban-only quota. Blank blocks and genders retain the source’s meaning.

Source: uploaded NVS PDFs, cross-checked against matching public copies on 8 October 2026. Historical cut-offs do not guarantee future selection. Class 9’s 2025 PDF preserves quota labels; gender is marked only where specified. Class 6’s 2026 PDF does not split genders.
Cut-off and selection FAQs
How do I download a Navodaya selection list?
Open the official NVS website, locate the result or admission notice for your class and academic year, and follow its selection-list link or candidate-login instructions. Check the district, candidate details and instructions before saving the list.
Where do the historical cut-off records come from?
The finder transcribes the uploaded Class VI 2025/2026 and Class IX 2025 NVS PDFs, cross-checked with matching public copies. Each row links its PDF page. Historical marks are not future selection probabilities.
How can I verify reservation and rural or urban quotas?
Use the current class-specific NVS prospectus. Category, rural or urban, gender and other applicable reservation provisions must be checked for the relevant year. The score tool does not calculate seat allocation.
How can Class 9 and Class 11 candidates check selection?
Follow the class-specific official admission notice to the merit selection information or candidate login. Class IX 2025 district/quota cut-off records are available in the finder. Class XI stream qualifying minima come from the current prospectus and are distinct from last-selected-candidate cut-offs.
Archive coverage
The archive contains 14,954 Class 6 records for the 18 January 2025 summer-bound exam, 9,507 Class 6 score/rank records for summer-bound JNVST 2026 and 2,989 Class 9 LEST records for the 8 February 2025 exam. Source PDF pages are retained for every row.
Open quota is not urban-only
Open merit seats can include rural and urban candidates. Rural UR can be block-specific. Select the district, source quota, block and gender as applicable before comparing scores.
Always verify final results, dates, documents and admission directions through official NVS sources.
Scores, ranks and missing entries
The 2026 source provides minimum marks and maximum rank pairs. Dashes mean no value reported, not zero. The 2025 Class 6 file separates boys and girls; the 2026 file does not. Class 9 specifies girl quotas only for some rows; other rows are left unspecified.
Class 11 qualifying marks differ from selection cut-offs
The 2027 Class XI prospectus lists a sectional minimum of 6/20 and stream-merit qualifying minima out of 60. These do not identify the last selected candidate in each district. Use the dedicated stream merit calculator for the qualifying calculation.
Historical comparisons and future selection
There is no single national safe score. Meeting a historical mark cannot guarantee future admission. Vacancies, eligibility, reservation rules and current merit decide selection; follow official selection notices.
Using previous-year Navodaya cut-offs responsibly
Choose the actual source year first. Then match the state, district/JNV label, social category, quota, block and source gender. Rural UR records can be block-specific, and open merit is available to rural and urban candidates. A range summarising many rows describes variation in the archive; it should not be called the official current cut-off for everyone in that category.
What the downloadable CSV contains
Filtered CSV files contain the matching state, district, block, gender, quota, minimum marks, rank where available and source page. Keep the PDF with any spreadsheet analysis so that rows can be checked against the original record. A dash or absent row means a value was not reported in that source; it does not mean the qualifying score is zero.
